The footprint a real producer leaves

A manufacturer accumulates registrations a desk cannot avoid and a trader rarely bothers with: production licences issued to the producing entity in its own name; customs export registration that lets it ship under its own name instead of through a third-party exporter of record; trademarks — own brands hint at a manufacturer, not a broker; patents — process filings suggest real R&D and production lines; and ICP filings showing whether the website you were shown is registered to this company at all.

No single line settles it — traders can hold marks, factories can hold none. The reading is the pattern: an entity claiming to be the plant, with no production licence, no customs registration and a website registered to someone else, has a claim the record does not support. That pattern, source-named and dated, is what this check delivers.

What this cannot show

• Registered capability is not current output. A production licence proves capability on record — not that your order will run on that line, or that the line still exists this quarter.
• Registration to export, not export volume — customs registration cannot show how much, what, or to whom it actually ships.
• No registry read can confirm where your order is produced. When production capability itself is the decision, the next step is a human on the floor — on-site verification is arranged separately, and this check tells you whether it is worth the trip.

How it runs — no account, one private case

Questions buyers ask

How can I tell if a Chinese supplier is a factory or a trading company?

Read the registrations a producer cannot avoid: production licences in the entity's own name, customs export registration, trademarks and patents, and whether the website shown to you is registered to the same company. No single line settles it — the pattern does. An entity claiming to be the plant with none of that footprint has a claim the record does not support.

Does it matter if my supplier is a trader rather than the factory?

It changes three things: price (a margin layer you cannot see), tooling risk (your mould may sit in a plant you have no contract with), and quality control (instructions pass through hands that do not run the line). Traders can still be the right choice — the problem is not trading, it is not knowing.

Can you verify the actual production line?

Not from records — and this page will not pretend otherwise. The registry read tells you whether the claim is worth an on-site visit; the visit itself is a human check we arrange separately, with scope agreed before you pay anything.
