China due diligence and company verification.

Get a human-reviewed answer to a specific question about a Chinese company. Choose the records to check. Your L3 report states a scoped conclusion, the key evidence, gaps and next step, with the reviewer and date. Each source note names the record read and its query date.

$128 USD from: $89 for one entity plus $39 per record category. Your private status page shows the quote after submission. Delivery: within 3 business days of payment confirmation, in the fixed report template. Checkout lists available PayPal, card or international bank-transfer options; availability depends on your country and issuer.

Need a human check within 24 hours? Request a slot before paying. We confirm each slot and scope in writing. The rush fee adds 50% to the standard L3 price; the quote shows the total and deadline. The clock starts at payment confirmation. If late, we return the rush fee and continue the check. Your other refund rights still apply.

First order refundable, no reason needed: 14 days from delivery, in full to the original payment method, once per buyer, written into the terms. Company and payment details are listed openly in the trust centre. Enter the supplier name and product, then select the checks you need. Contact details are optional. Ordering is open, and nothing is charged when you submit. The confirmation comes back straight away with the delivery window for your order. For the checkout methods it carries the payment link too, so you are not waiting on a reply before you can pay. Fulfilment starts once your payment is confirmed.

Compare checks and get help

Already paid and the supplier has gone quiet? Start here instead: a record check cannot recover funds. Already have a report from us and reality does not match a line in it? Email the order ID and that line. A person re-reads it against the official source, and it is corrected or refunded with no time limit.

Need the workflow rather than a paid human review? Start with the six-check supplier due diligence checklist.

Need registry records without a human recheck? The self-serve report runs those checks automatically after payment confirmation and can return results in seconds. Larger reports or source delays can take longer; 72 hours is the fallback limit. No L2 rush fee applies.

Which one do you actually need? Just checking who a company is, before a small first order: the self-serve identity pack. About to send a deposit and the payee name looks off: the before-payment check. Records that contradict each other, or an order big enough that you want a person reading the official portals by hand: this page.

Where this sits. Free browser checks come first: the unified social credit code check and the factory-or-trader reading. Next come theme packs from $26.55, with registry lines from $4.90 priced inside them on the published menu. Then the before-you-pay record pack. Then comes the human portal reading on this page, from $128 USD. On-site factory verification is from $169/man-day USD, quoted per visit. Each answers a different question. The cheaper ones do not become the dearer one.

Extra entities, rush work and checks outside the list are quoted separately before you pay. Start with the instant tool and report builder for an in-browser wording screen. Registry-data lookup is offered only when that tool shows a provider as available; otherwise it fails closed. I read the licensed-platform records and recheck key lines by hand against the official public portals. I do not proxy, embed or scrape government portals from my servers or your browser.

REQUEST / 01

Prepare the company check request.

$206 USD for 3 record categories: $89 base + 3 × $39. The total updates with your selections. A person rechecks key lines at the official portals. The report shows dated findings, disagreements with the commercial source and access failures, with limits relevant to your decision. Submitting does not charge you. Work outside your selection is quoted separately before you pay.

Standard scope: one entity and the record categories you select. Every L3 includes a human-reviewed conclusion on that scope. The default three checks do not include every adverse-record category. Unselected categories stay outside the order.

Describe the product and the question you want answered. Contract, invoice or payee reconciliation, extra entities, and checks with a certificate issuer require a separate written scope before payment. Do not paste confidential documents, full bank details or identity documents into this form.

Your supplier identity, question and selected checks are submitted to Currawong only when you send this form. Email remains optional for your receipt and completion notice. No account is created.

Minimal submissionNo official portal is contacted from your browser. You receive a private result link; save it. If you lose it, email us your payment reference and a person can reissue it. Read the privacy notice.

Official-record checks requested

The category names below stay in English: they are official Chinese registry categories, and translating them could change what they mean.

Court and enforcement records

Company and payment details are listed openly in the trust centre.

Ordering is open, and nothing is charged when you submit. The confirmation comes back straight away with the delivery window for your order. For the checkout methods it carries the payment link too, so you are not waiting on a reply before you can pay. Fulfilment starts once your payment is confirmed.

Submitting means you accept the L3 report template as the deliverable format. The price is $89 USD for one entity plus $39 USD for each record category you tick; a typical three-category order is $206 USD. The exact quote, what it covers and how long it holds appear on your private status page as soon as you submit. Nothing is charged at this step; anything outside that scope is quoted separately before you pay.

PUBLIC SOURCES / 02

Licensed Chinese business-information platforms, 18 record categories: the scope of an L3 human record check.

What can be returned depends on platform coverage, identity matching and the records displayed at the time of the check.

Platform records, rechecked at the official source

The 18 categories are read from a licensed Chinese business-information platform, the same single commercial source named in the terms. They cover registration, shareholders and disclosed contributions, personnel, branches, changes, annual reports, licences and penalties. They also cover abnormal and serious-illegal lists, inspections, pledges, mortgages, judicial assistance, announcements, enforcement and judgment records displayed at query time. In an L3 check the researcher additionally rechecks key lines by hand against the official portals. Each rechecked line names the official source, its query date and any access limitation.

X-V

Official-source recheck by a person

Where a record matters to your decision, the researcher rechecks it against the official publicity system it originates from. The report shows what each side displays, with dates. Disagreement between the platform and the official source is reported to you: never silently resolved.

LIM

What these platforms are, and are not

They republish Chinese official registration and court disclosures. They are not the official portals themselves. The origins they name are the National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System (国家企业信用信息公示系统), China Judgements Online (中国裁判文书网) and the China Enforcement Information Disclosure Network (中国执行信息公开网). They also name the National Intellectual Property Administration and its Trademark Office (国家知识产权局 / 中国商标网), and the National Copyright Administration (国家版权局). Those platforms state that they display such records as published and warrant nothing about their accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Republication lag and coverage gaps exist, so a platform showing no record is not proof that no official record exists. Every line states the query date and the limits of what was checked.

The Chinese rules behind these checks are public. Links checked on 7 September 2026.

WORKFLOW / 03

You ask.
We check.
You get a reviewed answer.

  1. 01

You identify the supplier and question

Use the Chinese legal name and, if available, the Unified Social Credit Code. State the question and select the records. Extra work needs an agreed scope before payment.

  2. 02

A person checks the selected sources

I work through the official portals manually and record access failures right on the report. I’m Derrick: see exactly who you are dealing with.

  3. 03

    You receive a reviewed conclusion

The report answers the scoped question, explains the key evidence and sets out the next step. It names the reviewer and date. Every selected category has a result, including access failures.

REPORT TEMPLATE / 04

One fixed report format,
agreed before you order.

Every completed L3 check is delivered through your private result link in the exact structure below, the same fields our fulfilment system records. Submitting a request means you accept this format as the deliverable.

Two-panel diagram: a check does read the official Chinese record from the China side, name the source and query date, state limits, report no-result honestly and refund unavailable sources; a check does not approve or score suppliers, give legal customs or tax advice, process payments, certify products, or guarantee outcomes
The boundary is deliberate: a report you can rely on must say where its reliability stops. Original Currawong diagram.
CURRAWONG / L3 REPORT TEMPLATE$128 USD
Status
completed or unable describes delivery. Neither status approves a supplier. Every selected category has an outcome. Unavailable scope is explained and refunded per our terms.
Query date
The date the official portals were read by a person. Findings reflect that date only; records can change after it.
Identity match
matched / partial / unconfirmed: how confidently the public records were tied to the exact supplier you named.
Reviewed conclusion
The question reviewed; a clear answer stating what the evidence supports, contradicts or leaves unresolved; the key evidence and its impact; and a next step. The summary names the actual reviewer and review date. Human review does not imply an independent second reviewer.
Sources
An outcome for every selected category, with the actual source, record reference or page address, query date, finding and gaps. An inaccessible source is distinct from a search with no visible match.
Limitations
What could not be checked or confirmed, and why. This field is never empty when a limit exists.

The conclusion applies to the question and evidence checked. It does not certify a supplier or clear a payment. Read the complete illustrative L3 report to see how a finding becomes an answer.

Delivery format: open your private result link within 7 days of delivery. The report is a plain web page you can save or print to PDF. After that window, email us to reopen it at no charge. No account, nothing to install. (The self-serve Supplier Evidence Report is delivered differently: a view-only link, re-openable in 30-minute sessions for 7 days.) A receipt goes to the email you provide. Need a receipt or invoice naming your company for reimbursement? Ask by email.

BOUNDARIES / 05

A clear answer within the agreed scope.

  • Not legal advice. Use qualified legal or compliance counsel for material decisions.
  • Not a quality audit. Public records do not verify products, factories, samples or delivery capability.
  • Not exhaustive. Portal access, displayed fields and searchable records may change or be unavailable.
  • Not a safety guarantee. A clear public-record screen cannot prove that a transaction is risk-free.

When the screen is not enough, the scoped checks start where it stops. Each is priced, dated and states its own gaps. Confirm the registered entity behind a name. Test a manufacturer claim against the registry footprint. Check identity and payment records before the deposit leaves. Or take every check on the menu as one bundle.

MEASURED / WHAT THE BOUNDARIES LOOK LIKE IN NUMBERS

Those limits, with figures attached

The boundaries above are stated as principles. On 21–22 August 2026 I measured what they amount to, across 45 selected company codes from the NHTSA-based name frame. Selection did not verify identity.

Each stated boundary against a measured figure. Queried 21–22 August 2026.
Stated boundaryWhat I measured
A clear public record is not a safety guarantee0 of 45 returned serious-illegal records; that is not a check of every adverse record category
Not a quality audit; records do not verify factoriesA branch record was returned for 8 of 45
Not exhaustive; access and fields may be unavailableFive of eight hosts did not return HTTP 200 in the dated test; this does not establish why
A starting point, not an approvalBasic identity records returned for 45 of 45 selected codes; change records for 41 of 45. Neither establishes who will fulfil your order

No returned serious-illegal record is not an all-clear. The source returned none for these 45 selected codes, but it returned administrative-penalty records for 9 of 45. These are different record categories. A missing result can also reflect coverage or matching limits; it does not establish supplier safety.

These figures are why the request form asks what decision the check is for. Records can help identify a company. They cannot confirm that it will fulfil your order. State the decision you need to make so the report addresses the relevant limits.
