Facts, inferences and limitations stay visibly separate.

Currawong Web publishes practical English-language guidance for international buyers checking suppliers in China. This policy describes how those pages are researched, reviewed and corrected.

RESEARCH / 01

Useful because the boundary is explicit.

Each substantive guide should answer a buyer question directly, identify the evidence needed for the next decision, and say what that evidence cannot establish.

01

Official and primary sources come first

We prefer current laws, regulator pages, official public registers, government guidance, standards-body pages and accreditation-body records. Vendor or secondary explanations may help with context but do not replace an available primary source for a material claim.

Source links and their check date are shown near the relevant guide. A link proves neither that a specific supplier was checked nor that the source will remain unchanged.

02

Claim, evidence and inference are separated

Source facts are stated narrowly. Currawong Web’s synthesis — such as a checklist sequence, evidence table or next-step recommendation — is labelled through the page methodology and limitation sections. Missing access or an ambiguous match remains unresolved; it is not converted into a clean result.

We avoid claims that a supplier, factory, certificate, payment or transaction is “safe”, “approved” or guaranteed by a public-record screen.

03

AI assistance does not replace review

AI-assisted drafting, translation, restructuring or code support may be used. Public source links, dates, calculations, page behaviour and material risk boundaries still require human review before publication. AI output is not treated as a source and is not cited as evidence.

04

Human review and dated updates

New or materially changed guidance is checked for one clear page purpose, readable initial HTML, working internal links, canonical metadata, source attribution and boundary language. Pages state a published or modified date when the timing matters. A date is a snapshot, not a promise that every external record remains unchanged.

Commercial service pages are held to the same evidence boundary as editorial pages. Pricing or availability must be confirmed before fulfilment starts.

05

Corrections

Email [email protected] with the page URL, disputed passage and supporting source. Material corrections update the page and its modified date; we do not silently rewrite an evidence boundary to preserve a sales claim.
