Is this Chinese company real? Check its registered identity.

Identity check

No account. Private case link. The order confirmation states the delivery window. You can pay with PayPal, by card or by USD bank transfer; the methods shown depend on your country. Lines that need a person are still delivered inside that window, which the terms cap at 72 hours after payment confirmation, or you can cancel the affected lines for a full refund.
What “real” means in the record
A platform returned three status labels across 46 selected records on 28 August 2026. The study did not confirm each company’s identity or current official status. Read a status with its source and date, then match the entity to your documents. See the status counts and input limits →
Check whether the Chinese legal name, USCC and legal representative match the record. Then review the licences, certificates, taxpayer status and inspection records returned for that entity. These records help you compare its claims with the available evidence. They do not approve your product or order. The payment check adds selected enforcement records. For judgments and other court records, choose the relevant lines in the report menu.
Of 106 submitted English names in the study, 45 returned no rows (42.5%). The other searches returned candidates, not proof of identity. See the full search outcomes.
A single result can look conclusive: 54 of 106 searches returned one row. But across all 84 rows returned, 13.1% were registered in Hong Kong rather than mainland China. Ten of those eleven carried no 18-character code at all. A single row tells you the search matched something. It does not tell you it matched the company on your contract, in the jurisdiction you assumed.
A search can return a real company that is not your supplier. Compare its registered name and code with the business licence and contract. Ask the supplier to explain any difference before relying on the result.
What this cannot show
- A matching identity does not mean the company is active, solvent or able to export: review the returned status and any gaps. Court records are not included in this five-check selection.
- Registered scope is not proof of production. Product approvals, licences and factory capability need checks for the activity and site involved.
- Registry facts describe the legal entity, not the factory floor. The factory-claim check reads related filings. It does not establish where your order will be produced.
How it runs: no account, one private case
- 1. Build. Review the selected checks. Add or remove items and see the price before ordering.
- 2. Order. Email is optional. If you leave it blank, save your private case link: it is your way back to the order.
- 3. Track. One private link shows status, payment and the report. The order confirmation states the delivery window. If a line needs a person, we tell you and still deliver inside that window. Affected lines are refunded in full if they cannot be delivered within that window.

What the free tools cannot reach, and this check reads
The free tools on this site run in your browser: the code check validates an 18-character code, while the four-party matcher lines up the names you already hold. Neither queries a live company record. This check reads registry-derived records through the licensed platform, so it is worth being concrete about what sits on the other side of that line.
On 21–22 August 2026 we queried the licensed commercial platform for 45 selected company codes — codes selected from the NHTSA-based name frame. Selection did not confirm identity; not all codes came from single-result searches.

A returned record gives you another source to compare with the supplier’s documents. These sample counts do not predict your report’s coverage or prove that a certificate, licence or import/export claim is valid.

Questions buyers ask
How do I verify a Chinese company is legitimate?
Match the supplier’s Chinese legal name and 18-character USCC with its registered record. Review the status, licences and any gaps. For selected enforcement records, add the payment check. Other court records need separate menu lines. A matching identity does not prove the supplier can fulfil your order.
The company's English name doesn't match its Chinese name. Is that a problem?
An English trading name alone does not identify a mainland Chinese entity. Compare the Chinese legal name and USCC on the licence and contract. A Hong Kong entity may have a registered English name. If different companies appear in your documents, ask for their relationship and roles in writing.
Can I check something for free first?
Yes. The free USCC tool checks code format in your browser; it does not verify company existence. The five paid checks cover identity matching, licences, certificates, taxpayer status and inspections. A registry snapshot is included with the order.
A record check cannot approve a supplier, inspect goods or guarantee delivery.

Candidate figures count rows returned for the submitted names, in source order. A candidate or its position does not confirm the intended company. Field counts came from 46 selected commercial platform records. They do not verify identity, cash in the bank or what a factory can make. Fill rates come from dated checks of chosen company codes through one paid data source. A hit is a returned record; it may be incomplete or mislinked. Last date marked for the checks: 28 August 2026. Use the date shown with each finding. A page update does not mean all checks were run again.
