What this desk accepts, and what it declines outright.
From this page on, we are a seller — these are the admission rules of our own buying desk, not verification advice, and we will never verify a supplier for you and then offer to replace them with ourselves. The rules below decide whether a submitted brief gets a quote at all. Publishing them saves you a wait: a brief that hits the exclusion list is declined, not negotiated.
BUYING DESK / ELIGIBILITY
Three tiers: reviewable, review-with-questions, excluded.
“Reviewable” never means automatically accepted — every product × destination pair still goes through a person checking supplier, logistics acceptance and destination rules. The point of the tiers is that the third one is not negotiable, and telling you that up front is cheaper for both sides than a three-day silence.
What V1 can evaluate
Goods with all four properties:
- Unbranded and design-clean — no third-party logos, licensed characters or look-alike designs.
- Non-electrical, non-safety-critical — nothing that plugs in, transmits, protects a person, or holds pressure.
- Describable — material, dimensions, quantity and use can be written down and checked against a photo.
- Logistically ordinary — ships as general cargo with online tracking; no temperature control, no quarantine, no dangerous-goods class.
Typical examples: fixings and brackets, tooling accessories, packaging materials, plain textiles and workshop consumables for business use.

This list is about what we can responsibly carry today; it is not a statement that these goods cannot be imported by anyone. A desk that accepts everything is a desk that has not thought about any of it.
Destination notes
All destinations are review-gated; nothing on this page promises delivery anywhere. Three examples of what the review looks at: EU — product-safety obligations can attach even to B2B goods (GPSR-era rules on economic operators); US — consumer products under CPSC rules need certification evidence, with customs eFiling phasing in from 2026; Australia — importers carry safety-standard and recall obligations of their own. Where a destination rule requires an in-country responsible party we do not have, the honest answer is a decline.
Import clearance, duties, taxes and licences at destination are the buyer’s side of a DAP deal — stated before quoting, on the quote, and in the trade terms, because finding it out at the border helps nobody.
Order guardrails while the desk builds its record
- Sample orders first — the shape we most welcome. A 1–5 piece sample order is the cheapest way for both sides to prove the whole chain: you risk tens of dollars, we produce a real tracked shipment, and the main order is then priced against goods you have held in your hands. Tick “I want a sample” on the request form, or simply brief the sample as the order.
- One order in flight at a time. A second buyer waits, and is told so honestly.
- First orders stay small — up to about USD 500. Not because we distrust you: a first-time counterparty asking you to test it with a large order would be the red flag we teach people to catch.
- One SKU (or same-spec variants) to one business address. No multi-address distribution in V1.
- Quotes expire in 48 hours — supplier prices, freight and FX move; a stale quote re-checked beats a stale quote honoured badly.
- 100% prepayment, single currency, single payment. Payment clears before goods move; we do not extend credit, and there is no financing, net-30 or escrow here.
These guardrails are V1 policy, not law of nature — they loosen as real delivered orders accumulate, and the change will be dated on this page rather than slipped in quietly.
